Full screen,

14.06″14.2″

Your 14″ MacBook Pro goes from a 14.06″ screen to the full 14.2″. The size Apple advertises, so it's the screen you actually paid for.

The feel

Thought through.
Like an iPhone.

ProMax Display makes your Mac feel the way an iPhone does. Everything is smooth, polished, and it just works.

Follows your fingers.

Swipe up for the Dock or down for Control Center and it moves with you. Change your mind, swipe back, and it goes away again.

Grows out of the notch.

Move the pointer behind the notch and the mirror springs out of the notch at once. Move away and it tucks straight back in.

Lifts as you choose.

Slide along the Dock and each app lifts under your fingers, with a light click on the trackpad as you pick one.

Rear-view mirror

See what's behind
the notch.

Once apps fill the notch row, a tab, a button or a line of text can end up behind the notch. Point at it and a live view grows out of the notch, pointer and all, and your clicks still go straight through. Move away and it’s gone.

Menu bar and Dock

Still a touch
away.

Push to the top edge beside the notch and the menu bar comes down, as it always has. Inside the notch it stays put, so reaching for the mirror never drops it on you. The Dock is right where it’s always been.

Trackpad gestures

Swipe in from
the edges.

Like an iPhone. Two fingers up from the bottom edge for the Dock. Down from the top left for the menu bar, or the top right for Control Center. They follow your fingers, and with the Dock up, one more swipe and a slide switches apps.

And a scroll stays a scroll. It only counts as a gesture when you start at the very edge and swipe in, so nothing opens by accident.

There's care in
the details.

Nothing lost behind the notch. The part of the app behind the notch still takes hovers and clicks, and the mirror shows you where you are.

Rounded like the screen. Full screen apps keep the display's rounded top corners as you swipe between them. The bottom pair can match too.

Photo Booth
Keynote

Leave any app as it is. Add an app to Excluded Apps and it keeps macOS's normal full screen, below the notch.

Games too. Games built on SDL open from ProMax Display with full screen reaching the notch row. There's a Steam launch option to copy.

NotesRelease to Switch

Switch apps from the Dock. With the Dock up, swipe up again and slide. Pull up and let go to open that app, or pull down to quit it. Your pointer never moves.

The mirror, the menu bar that stays put in the notch, gestures that follow your fingers, rounded corners and excluded apps all come with the one-time setup.
